We learned how clinicians currently document treatment decisions and discuss treatment options with their patients, including what is recorded and how the information is used across care teams. Time and efficiency is a consideration for any design. These insights will help us design features that minimize duplication of documentation for clinicians while supporting patients within the mobile application. We also received suggestions on what information clinicians would use to discuss a shared-decision and what information is important to record. Finally, we learned about what kind of feedback is helpful for clinicians as part of the shared decision making process.
